Estonian Business School is calling out a search for Entrepreneurial DNA

Estonian Business School has started a campaign “Searching for Entrepreneurial DNA” to invite young people to share their understanding of entrepreneurship and enterprising. In order to participate you just need to make a short video and share it with EBS. The winner of the campaign will receive a very special price!

The winner will get a special personally designed 5-day “Future Top Manager Programme”, which includes the programme put together following the winner’s wishes and interests with different Estonian top managers and specialists who will help to broaden the young person’s mind and give an insight to their field of interest. In addition, EBS will give out a 100 percent scholarship for one semester. Additional prices have been put out by Monster Music which include 2 festival passes for Weekend Festival and two for Pühajärve Jaanituli as well.

While creating the video you should answer one of the following questions: what is entrepreneurship in your opinion; what makes you entrepreneurial; how to spot an entrepreneurial person; who is inspiring you with their entrepreneurial spirit, attitude, etc.

Specific information about the campaign: www.ebs.ee/dna.

The winner will be announced on 29th of June.

The fact that young Estonians have entrepreneurial spirits can be proven by Estonia being the most active start-up country and student enterprises are offering well-thought-out and innovative products and services. Less discussed is the topic how the generation who has yet to enter the job market understands entrepreneurship and enterprising.

EBS Vice Rector for International Collaboration, Toomas Danneberg, is very interested in seeing the young people’s vision.

“From one side, people are talking a lot that Y and Z generations do not wish to work in the traditional way at all, but on the other we see in EBS and in our daily life that nowadays the young people are not distracted by previous dogmas and wish to do things and think by themselves and thus create a new entrepreneurial culture,” said Danneberg. “Business and economical education has to keep up with the time and people, therefore it is critical to understand not only today’s business world but to think how it is going to change with the people in the future as well.”

The best videos will be uploaded to EBS social media channels. School’s current students Tanel Padar and Grete Paia will help to share EBS’ competition call. In addition to them, EBS’ alumnus and entrepreneur Timmu Tõke joins the call too, a man who founded Wolf3D which has forcefully entered the international market.
