Introduce yourself briefly.
Hello, I’m Anette Maria Rennit, 18 years old EBS High School student from international class. Words that introduce me the best are: energetic, versatile and ambitious. Since I’m graduating this year we had a photo wall with comments from 11th graders. The one that fit me was: a girl with an amazing model-look, top grades and unique personality. She eats a lot more than her body shows off and she eats a lot of sweets. Her orange hair and natural beauty cannot be unseen by anyone. A great girl who always shines in everything she does. She always gets good results in her actions.
Why did you choose to study in EBS High School?
EBS High School’s international class gave me the oppurtunity to study in English, which is needed for my future studies and, of course, in every other aspect in my life (PS! my future plan is to learn to speak German in the short run and Arabic in the long run.) My plan at the moment is to get my bachelor’s degree in International Law and masters degree in International Relations. Looking back to my high school journey I can be thankful to the teachers from humanitarian field who have given me the strong basis I need for my favourite subjects, eg. in history.
Which is your favourite country you’ve been to and what are the best memories from that trip?
United Arab Emirates. I have been more in Abu Dhabi and Dubai than in other cities that I have visited in my life. That’s because my sister lives there. Out of all of the good memories, the ones shared with my sister Charlene have been the best and the brightest. Since I have followed her everyday life in Emirates, it has really opened my eyes and I am positive that there will be a time in my life when I will spend my time working in Emirates also.
What else do you do besides studying and how much effort are you able to put in your studies?
I have always been able to concentrate on my studies, probably thanks to my mom who taught me to study from the beginning. Hard work pays off – if I get a five from my school exam, I will be able to graduate with a silver medal. Besides school I have always been into music- I have graduated Tallinn’s School of Music in piano speciality and now I am singing in WAF. A few years ago I got addicted to going to gym and now, when I have 2 dogs, I am a lot more into walking and running. I like to drive somewhere out of town for longer walks. I also compete in dogshows with my setters (Englist and Gordon). Combined they have won 10 champion titles in different countries. Sky and Mila are my main free time activities, since it takes a lot of time and effort to deal with showdogs.
Words to live by?
Just be nice, it’s that simple.
