EBS at Nike run

EBS at Nike run

Nike’s youth run „We run Tallinn“ is a yearly running event for youngsters where the running distance is 5 kilometres. The run takes place in Tallinn Old Town and around its area. The event is very well organized, everyone aged 13-29 can take part. The running path isn’t very complicated and the motivation you get from there is indescribable. There were many supporters alongside the road who did their best to inspire the runners to give their best and push even harder.  Even if you had planned to take it easy and keep a slow pace, the feeling of support and the given motivation inevitably gave everyone the feeling that we could run even better and faster.

EBS was represented by our own team. Even our mascot – King of Business was out there running. There were lots of Erasmus students as well. We asked one Erasmus student to give us some feedback about the event.

The Nike Run has been one of the very first events I have taken part in since I arrived in Tallinn. Meeting up with the other students and walking together to the starting point gave us a chance to get to know each other and meet new people. Not to mention the fact that it was located in the historical centre of Tallinn, which made it a great alternative way to see the city for those who, like me, are here for the first time. Not only has it truly been so much fun but it also has made me feel like I was a part of a community already.

– Anna Del Magno

Although the ebsters were one of the last teams to start, no-one stayed at the bottom because everyone did their best and what’s even more important – they enjoyed the run wholeheartedly.
