EBS International Dinner is happening once again!
EBS International Dinner, which has become an every-year tradition is already taking place on 2. December 2020. There will be both, local and international students; different cultures and spectacular flavors.
What is this event about?
EBS International Dinner is an every-year event, hosted by EBS Student Council’s International Club, which is meant to give our students a possibility to enjoy and share food from different parts of the world, while sharing a part of their own culture with others. It’s a great opportunity to experience new flavors, to learn about others and create new contacts – all of this at one event.
Obviously, awesome tables filled with mountains of food are put out. But in addition, there will be an opportunity to play fun games with fun people.
The idea behind this event is to learn about the cultures which are represented here at EBS, by our own students. Everyone can proudly share info and raise awareness about their home country. On the other hand, let’s not forget that it’s a bit of a competition also, since the best prepared teams will get nice prizes for their good participation.
There has been different countries represented through out the years. Amongst others, Germany, Austria, Estonia, Russia, Finland, Greece and France have put out some good dishes and drinks before.
Every year is a little bit different, and there is no way of telling, which countries will be represented on the next EBS International Dinner, so if you are intrigued – come and see for yourself – put together a team and represent your country!
Participation is free of charge!
If you are thinking about participating and representing your culture, then you should keep in mind, that the team can consist of up to 4 people. There is no limit on how much food you can put out – the more the merrier!
You should also focus on a nice presentation of the food, and putting out a cool informative table, to catch eyes and maybe even win one of the cool prizes – for the great effort – to your team! 😉
Please note that it is an every team’s shared responsibility to keep the tasters and visitors safe, in the COVID-19 context. We nicely ask you to take measures to ensure everyone’s safety by setting your table in a suitable way. For example, by separating the foods; using covers etc.
In addition to ensuring safety, this aspect is also taken into consideration when judging the tables and assigning the prizes. 🙂
